'1971 the show' is a brand new concept, produced by lead vocalist jesse smith, performed by an all star band who endeavour to recreate the music of 1971 with detail, passion and energy.
"That was a genuinely emotional experience witnessing this show... It was incredible to experience such a responsive, enthusiastic audience in he house and spilling out onto the street outside at the interval on a perfect summers evening sharing their excitement. This show should be available on prescription. I'm sure everyone left feeling younger than when they arrived."

“A rip-roaring rollercoaster of rock 'n' roll at the hands of @jessesmithuk and his INCREDIBLE band at the Kenton in Henley tonight. The musical wig-out to the songs of 1971 attracted far and wide (the couple sitting beside me travelled 200 miles from Liverpool just for this gig!) and incited impromptu standing ovations mid-set. Visions of blue jean flares, big hair, and rock pouring out of transistor radios abounded as we all embarked on a wonderful tour of that one year - using narrative, audio clips, and of course music. Great to hear my icon Janis Joplin get a spotlight amongst T-Rex, the Stones, Rod, Elton, George Harrison, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Creedence, Free, Bowie, and so many more. Bravo”

"Couldn't have enjoyed it more! It was superb from start to finish and I left on a high! An amazing and diverse variety of music, with something for absolutely everyone!
Pure entertainment and so brilliantly delivered.
The rapport between all the musicians was fantastic and your enjoyment of what you all do just added to the authenticity.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for an amazing evening of entertainment by way of a trip down memory lane to the music of 1971!" -

"What a brilliant show, a clever mix of the best of 1971 performed sooo well by everyone on stage. I had a shiver down my spine on more than one occasion when certain songs started.
This show needs to go national. Great lights and superb sound. Well done for the whole production"
